The Barclays Local Genius challenge is on the hunt for business-minded students across the UK. With regional finals in Glasgow, London, Northampton and Radbroke (Knutsford) we’re throwing the net wide to find future entrepreneurs with real potential to help the community around them.
What’s in it for you? Throughout the challenge stages, our entrants gain one-to-one mentoring and business training, skills workshops and advice to set any start-up apart from the crowd.
And that’s just by taking part. If you win the national finals at our London HQ, you’ll have dedicated experts at Barclays, ready to give you the guidance and connections you need to get your business started right now – even while you’re still at university.

- Our panel of Barclays colleagues and business leaders pick the top ten per region
- The top five ideas per region present their ideas at the regional finals
- The regional winners pitch to business leaders at the national final
