As a result of the Regional Competition process our Enactus team has been selected to take part in the Opening Round of the 2018 National Competition in London next month.

Enactus Kent is a student organisation which creates volunteer projects that are environmentally and economically sustainable, to solve problems in communities around the world.

Enactus Kent is part of Enactus which is an international non-profit organisation aimed at university students, in order to make a difference in the community while developing skills to become socially responsible leaders. Currently Enactus has 70,000 students spread across 36 countries working on nearly 5000 projects a year.

Enactus Kent is truly international too! There are currently 52 members of 12 nationalities.

Enactus Kent stepped out confidently at the Regional competition at AIG in London greeting the judges in 6 different languages and telling the panel about 3 prominent projects in India, Peru and UK the team is currently working on.

The members of Enactus Kent had a chance to meet industry experts from Unilever, AIG, Accenture, KPMG, Barclays, Centrica, Amazon and many others.

Taking part in a worthwhile project is a great application of entrepreneurial skills as well as a good chance to meet your prospective employers. According to statistics “application to hire” ratio of Enactus students is up to 85%.

The Hub for Innovation and Enterprise at the University of Kent is proud to be supporting Enactus Kent and hope to bring real value to the team!
