Register now for Spring Business Start-Up Workshops

These workshops aim to inform and educate students on how to start-up a business; be self-employed; freelance; and consult while studying.

They are run by the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, who are placed to connect students with Chamber entrepreneurs, access vital funding available to start-ups and offer hands on workshops.

Medway Dates: Friday 2nd February, 9th February, 16th February, 23rd February, 2nd March
Canterbury Dates: Wednesday 31st January, 7th February, 14th February, 21st February, 28th February
Time: 15:00-17:00
Number of hours: 5 x 2hours
Employability Points: 10 points per workshop

Learning Outcomes

The workshops have been structured so that all students who are interested in freelancing or being self-employed can feel confident that they’ll walk away with valuable information. By the end of this course, students should be able to;
