As such, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.parkinson.org\/\">Parkinson\u2019s Foundation<\/a>\u00a0is seeking not only to raise awareness of the disease, but of all the resources the organization offers to help make lives better for people with Parkinson\u2019s and their families, particularly during uncertain times.<\/p>\n<p>Parkinson&#8217;s Awareness Week and Parkinson&#8217;s Awareness Day also fall in April during the Awareness Month.<\/p>\n<p>Parkinson&#8217;s Awareness Day is held on <strong>11th April 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\"><span class=\"s2\">Parkinson\u2019s Awareness Week kick starts on World Parkinson\u2019s Day- <strong>Sunday 11th April 2021<\/strong> and ends on <strong>Saturday 17th April<\/strong>. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\"><span class=\"s2\">As there is no cure for Parkinson\u2019s, this\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">is an annual opportunity to raise awareness and\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">much needed\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">funds to support people\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">living with the condition<\/span><span class=\"s2\">,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">to\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">improve quality of life and to ensure that people live better for longer. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\"><span class=\"s2\">This year, the theme <\/span><span class=\"s2\">is<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"s3\">Mental Health in Parkinson\u2019s<\/span><span class=\"s2\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">on World Parkinson\u2019s Day\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">Parkinson\u2019s Care and Support UK will be launching the first ever\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parkinsonscare.org.uk\/mentalhealthhub\"><span class=\"s5\">Parkinson\u2019s Mental Health Support Hub<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<span class=\"s2\">, exclusively for people affected by Parkinson\u2019s.
