This 3-year, work-based e-learning programme, developed with employers, is designed to support people wanting to progress their career within small and medium enterprises (SME) and global organisations allied to the life-sciences. It incorporates interactive e-learning on topics such as Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Human Physiology and Disease, Pharmacology, and Technology Transfer.  The school also offers on- and off-site academic support, short residential blocks to address technical skills, and accredits in-house training.

The course is suitable for those with roles in the life-science industry from research throughdevelopment and into manufacturing and is ideally suited to those that have little or no formal qualifications post GCSE/A Level/HNC and who would benefit from additional knowledge and skills that can be directly applied in their work environment.  Currently we have learners from GlaxoSmithKline, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Catalent Pharma Solutions, and Takeda Pharmaceuticals.

To discuss any aspects of the Applied Bioscience Technology degree programme, including possible start-dates and fees, please contact Dr Scott Wildman.
