{"id":404,"date":"2016-06-28T10:28:18","date_gmt":"2016-06-28T09:28:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/graduateschoolnews\/?p=404"},"modified":"2016-06-28T10:28:18","modified_gmt":"2016-06-28T09:28:18","slug":"write-for-the-gradpost-autumn-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/graduate-researcher-college-studenthub\/2016\/06\/28\/write-for-the-gradpost-autumn-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Write for the GradPost &#8211; Autumn 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Autumn 2016 issue will have dual themes, welcoming new postgraduates to Kent and exploring creativity.<\/p>\n<p>The editors, Lucy Farndale and Mylene Branco,\u00a0are looking for the following contributions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Articles written on the topic of &#8220;Creativity in Academia&#8221; (600 &#8211; 800 words)<\/li>\n<li>Articles introducing your School, or any project or research which you have been involved in with your School (300-500 words)<\/li>\n<li>Any ideas from all disciplinary or personal perspectives. If you feel\u00a0 you have something novel or interesting to contact, please do get in touch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please submit all ideas for articles by Monday 11th July, emailed to <a href=\"mailto:lf294@kent.ac.uk\">lf294@kent.ac.uk<\/a>.\u00a0If your idea is chosen you must follow these submission guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Article titles should be short and snappy, with a subtitle<\/li>\n<li>The style should be as accessible as possible, avoid jargon<\/li>\n<li>Include a word count, your name, course studied, school and campus at the end of the piece<\/li>\n<li>Submit it in.docx format<\/li>\n<li>Include an image to go with the article, this must have a DPI value of 300+ and any necessary credits<\/li>\n<li>Submit by the 24th July at the latest to <a href=\"mailto:lf294@kent.ac.uk\">lf294@kent.ac.uk<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lucy and Mylene look forward to hearing from you!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 115%;font-family: 'Segoe UI Light',sans-serif;font-size: 14pt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/graduateschool\/news\/gradpost.html\"><span style=\"color: #0563c1;font-family: Segoe UI Light\">www.kent.ac.uk\/graduateschool\/news\/gradpost.html<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Autumn 2016 issue will have dual themes, welcoming new postgraduates to Kent and exploring creativity.
