Their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/10.1177\/13548565231161810\">research<\/a>\u00a0has recently published in <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/home\/CON\">Convergence: The International Journal of Research into New Media Technologies<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The paper\u00a0points out that while MrBeast\u2019s revenue-generating philanthropic videos is the latest of a long line of initiatives that have been loosely termed \u2018cause-related marketing\u2019, its \u2018warm glow\u2019 approach represents an evolution from conventional philanthropic television programmes.
