Zhang will review the regulation in China following the 2018 clinical use of heritable human genome editing in her presentation.<\/p>\n<p>The Third International Summit on Human Genome Editing will take place on 6-8 March 2023 at the Francis Crick Institute, London UK. Building on previous events held in Washington, DC (<a href=\"https:\/\/royalsociety.org\/news\/2015\/09\/human-gene-editing-summit\/\">2015<\/a>) and Hong Kong (<a href=\"https:\/\/royalsociety.org\/news\/2018\/05\/second-international-summit-on-human-genome-editing-to-be-held-in-hong-kong\/\">2018<\/a>), this Summit will continue the important dialogue around human genome editing. It will facilitate a global discussion on somatic and germline genome editing, including developments in clinical trials and genome editing tools such as CRISPR\/Cas9.
