Upcoming Webinar 18 Nov: Queer Grief — A Conversation

We are delighted to share that GSEJ founding member Dr Trude Sundberg is convening Queer Grief — A Conversation, an open discussion exploring how queer experiences of love, loss, and remembrance challenge and enrich public understandings of grief.

The webinar is an extension of the recently published Lambda Nordica special issue,  which has brought together intersecting perspectives on queer lives, desires, death, and grieving, inviting dialogue that challenges normative assumptions about how grief is experienced and expressed. It positions queer grief as both an extension of queer death studies and a vital terrain for imagining how loss, mourning, and resilience are intrinsically woven into the ongoing possibilities of queer life.

The webinar is Nov 18 from 1am to 2am GMT. It is jointly organised by Antu Sorainen (University of Helsinki), Paul Boyce (University of Sussex) and Trude Sundberg (University of Kent). It is free and open to all.
