Dr Jill Shepherd is a stem cell scientist and the Programme Director for Biomedical Science at Kent.
She was recently interviewed by Research Lives and Cultures about her study and work experience in the US, Australia and the UK.
As the host Dr Sandrine Soubes noted, the choices Jill made throughout her career has ‘show[n] great strengths and wisdom, as so many of us make choices that we think we should make, and which may not be really choices that work for us. Connecting to what we need in our lives owe to be an anchor in our key professional/ life decisions, but it is not always what guides us.’
