On 5th June, Dr Trude Sundberg is to deliver a World Environment Day special lecture titled ‘Interdisciplinary Approach in Sustainability Research’ at the Department of Geography, University of Calcutta.
Dr Sundberg has a wide range of research interests with an emphasis on cross-national views and the effect of negative attitudes, stereotyping, values and perceptions affecting vulnerable groups. They have been conducting a project on Water Security in South Asia, together with community members in South Asia, and colleagues at the Freie Universitat Berlin and the University of Connecticut. Their latest publications include An Integrated Quantitative Assessment of Urban Water Security of a Megacity in the Global South.
