Merry Christmas from the University of Kent Global Officers to You!

After settling down and making many new friends during my Year Abroad, I decided to spend Christmas away from home. I stayed with a friend I met at Indiana University and their family in Indianapolis.

An American Thanks Giving and Christmas is spent with friends and family, and of course, mountains of food. Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, brownies, and beef casserole were just some of the delights.

I learnt how to play a popular Midwestern trick-taking card game called Euchre. Which caused many humorous disputes.

When the seasons change the campus becomes ever more beautiful. Crimson leaves in Autumn and crisp white snow in Winter. Deer, squirrels, and chipmunks also appear all over campus.

I’ll never forget my Christmas in Indiana and will be going back for many more in the future.
