Each year, International Programmes hosts a video competition for all students on one of our pres-sessional courses. The theme of the submisisons was ‘The Journey of a Pre-sessional Student’.
Students were asked to share their memories with us by creating a video (that could include photographs) – for a chance to win the top prize of £100 of Amazon vouchers!
In the videos, we wanted to see footage taken during class (online and in person), online enrichment hours and on trips the students have been on with our student ambassadors, as well as any trips they have made themselves with friends or other footage relevant to the programme. The video must have shown what the students most liked about being a University of Kent student so far, including elements of the Pre-sessional course, using MS Teams and Moodle, using the library (both online and in person) discovering the campus, meeting new friends, trying new food or learning something new.
The Competition was open to students enrolled on a International Programmes Pre-sessional English course in 2021.

1st Prize
The winner of this years pre-sessional video competition was Sirorat Siripen! Sirorat studied on the 10 week Pre-sessional course, and is now studying MSc Project Management. Congratulations on your win! The video can be viewed below.

The runner-up in this years competition was Nattaphon Noonurat from the 10 week Pre-sessional course. Nattaphon is now studying MSc Finance, Investment and Risk. Well done on your 2nd prize! The video can be viewed below.
