all whom have undertaken an senior status LLB at KLS before returning to Canada for professional qualification.\u00a0\u00a0 The mentoring programme runs from October &#8211; April each year and applications are open from May.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Work experience<\/strong> &#8211; you&#8217;d be surprised at how many will respond and\/or meet up.\u00a0\u00a0 Don&#8217;t ask for work experience &#8211; they may\u00a0 not be in a position to offer it and thus don&#8217;t reply.\u00a0\u00a0 Better to find out about this once you have made a connection.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Canadian Bar Association&#8217;s<\/strong> individual provincial\/territorial groups may offer free student membership.\u00a0 Certainly the Ontario Bar Association does.\u00a0\u00a0 This will give you access to a network of Canadian lawyers, networking events and seminars (often on-line), articles and other resources.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Canada Law From Abroad<\/strong> &#8211; They were looking into creating an alumni portal\/network.\u00a0 Contact them for more information.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Global Lawyers of Canada &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/glcanada.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">https:\/\/glcanada.org\/<\/span><\/u><\/a>\u00a0&#8211;
