There are approximately 90 Ricoh devices supported by Ricoh in one of\u00a0two ways:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Remotely monitored by their automatic system \u2013 toner is automatically supplied and click counts remotely read.<\/li>\n
  2. A department staff member monitors the device and contacts Ricoh to provide necessary information, order toner or report breakdowns.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To improve the contact options for those responsible for departmental multi-functional devices (MFDs), Ricoh has updated their on-line portal. \u00a0This now allows on-line ordering of toner, the reporting of faults, and click counts. Owners\/ administrators simply need to register an account and associate any number of devices using their\u00a0serial number. \u00a0This site is being made available on an \u2018opt-in\u2019 basis.<\/p>\n

    This could make device administration easier. \u00a0It is quick to intuitive to use and could eliminate the need for phone calls to Ricoh. \u00a0Device administrators are encouraged to review the eService user guide<\/a> and to consider using the portal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
