{"id":368,"date":"2015-09-29T16:26:47","date_gmt":"2015-09-29T16:26:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/finance-news\/?p=368"},"modified":"2015-09-30T07:58:48","modified_gmt":"2015-09-30T07:58:48","slug":"payroll-processing-timetable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/finance-news\/2015\/09\/29\/payroll-processing-timetable\/","title":{"rendered":"Payroll Processing Timetable 2015\/16 Tax Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/finance-news\/files\/2015\/09\/2015_16-Payroll-schedule.pdf\">Payroll schedule<\/a>\u00a0provides details of the cut off and processing times for the\u00a0tax year from April to the following March and can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/finance-news\/files\/2015\/09\/2015_16-Payroll-schedule.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018cut off\u2019 date is the date that all timesheet information must be received by Pay Office.\u00a0Timesheet staff will need to ensure that\u00a0they\u00a0submit their timesheets to their line manager for authorisation in accordance with deadlines agreed with their manager so that this deadline can be met.\u00a0 Failure to meet these deadlines will result in timesheets being held over to the following month.<\/p>\n<p>Other details affecting pay such as change of bank details and income tax forms and pension information should also be sent to Pay Office Darwin C-2 before the \u2019cut off\u2019 date.<\/p>\n<p>Pay and Pensions Office process all the information received up to the \u2018cut off\u2019 date, by the \u2018payrun date\u2019.\u00a0 The information is then checked before payroll is finalised and salaries are paid.
