Melanie Nye, our Assistant Director of Finance (Strategy and Planning), is leaving the University on Tuesday 23rd January, to return to working in the NHS, after a long time with us in Higher Education.\u00a0 She will be very much missed and we wish her well in her new role.<\/p>\n
We will be recruiting a replacement for Melanie in due course.\u00a0 In the meantime, Andrew Brown is providing cover for Melanie’s role and supporting the Management Accounts and Budgeting teams.<\/p>\n
Mel will be on site on her last day and we’re planning to have some drinks in K Bar with her to celebrate her new role. Please do join us from 4pm on Tuesday 23rd.<\/strong><\/p>\n Graham Mason from the Insurance Office has retired and would like to wish Graham a long and happy retirement. The University has appointed Naren Lathigra as an interim to maintain the Insurance Function whilst we recruit a permanent successor. Please direct queries to the Insurance Office in future at insurance@kent.ac.uk<\/a><\/p>\n We would also like to wish Vicky Gatward-Warner, our Finance Business Partner (PSD), all the best for the future as she will be leaving the University after 17 years.
