Meet The Team Event<\/p>\n
The Finance Business Partnering Team are organising several events this year to help meet your training needs.\u00a0 You’ll be able to meet colleagues in an informal networking setting and that refreshments will be available at each event!<\/p>\n
Sarah Terry, Debbie Howard, and Sarah Cornelius, who make up the newly formed Business Partnering Team, want to ensure that anyone involved in finance processes has a say into the financial systems at Kent University;\u00a0 be it raising purchase orders,\u00a0 journals, commentary for reports or who have overall responsibility for planning and budgeting;\u00a0 can come together, network to resolve shared problems and gain a better understanding of how and why procedures must be in place to meet financial objectives and to ensure Kent meets its regulatory obligations.<\/p>\n
The first event will take place between 10am \u2013 12noon<\/em><\/strong> on Tuesday 1<\/strong><\/em>st<\/sup><\/em><\/strong> November 2022<\/em><\/strong> in the Darwin Boardroom<\/strong> and be an opportunity to meet the team and allow us to:<\/p>\n We hope as many of you as possible will be able to drop-in to this initial event.<\/p>\n We will be scheduling more events once we know your needs better.\u00a0 We are already considering targeted events such as:<\/p>\n We’re sure there are other areas where training and advice can really help you, so please come along on the 1st of November to help us shape your support.<\/p>\n Do not be shy, we are all nice friendly people ready to help you.<\/p>\n\n
