The site is now easier use and contains updated information in a much more user friendly manner.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the key changes include a new University VAT <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/finance-staff\/services\/taxes\/University%20of%20Kent%20VAT%20Guide%20-%20November%202019.docx?action=department&amp;deptid=217\">guide<\/a> which includes most of the everyday scenarios that many would encounter when considering VAT at the University. This guide is a jargon free as possible and includes a contents page with links to the areas you may find useful.<\/p>\n<p>The site also includes flow charts for both income and expenditure to help you select the correct VAT code when entering a transaction using a series of questions.<\/p>\n<p>We hope the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/finance-staff\/services\/taxes\/index.html\">site<\/a> will help you with your VAT queries but should you have any questions please contact the VAT <a href=\"mailto:vat@kent.ac.uk\">helpdesk<\/a> and we will be happy to help.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We would like to make you aware of our updated VAT and indirect taxes web site.
