Instead, a new balance table called UOK_BAL\u00a0 will be the balance table to use from the 4 September onwards. The new balance table will be loaded with budgets and actuals from periods 201301 to current date.<\/p>\n<p>Affected users who have personal browsers and enquiries linked to VUOK_COM were contacted in July in advance so that new templates linked to UOK_BAL could be created if required. The guidance provided can be found on the Agresso <a href=\"https:\/\/sharepoint.kent.ac.uk\/finance\/Agresso\/training\/SitePages\/Planner.aspx\">Wiki.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Should you encounter any issues using the UOK_BAL balance table or creating personal browsers, please contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/campusonline\/directory\/results.html?action=deptcard&amp;deptid=215\">Agresso Support team<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Agresso Upgrade to Unit4 Business World \u2013 19 and 20 November 2019<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will be upgrading Agresso to the latest version of Unit4 Business World (UBW) on 19 and 20 of November 2019.\u00a0 This is necessary to ensure compatibility with future versions of Microsoft Windows and Office and to move onto the latest versions of server and database software.\u00a0 This will ensure our UBW application remains fully supported by the software provider.<\/p>\n<p>Currently we are finalising User Acceptance Testing which is extremely important in order to ensure UBW functions correctly.\u00a0 We really appreciate the help and assistance provided by those users who have been engaged in the testing.<\/p>\n<p>The upgrade process will begin at 5pm on 18 November when all users will be locked out of the system.\u00a0 On 19 and 20 November, the technical installation of software will take place followed by copying all the existing data into the new system and applying the necessary customisations and security controls.\u00a0 On 21 November, access to UBW will be open to all.\u00a0 Please note, as with previous upgrades, users will not have access to the system for two full days although it is our intention to provide limited read only access to key users providing critical functions.<\/p>\n<p>We will be sharing more information closer to the time and running sessions in November to prepare users for the change.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Planner Module \u2013 Go Live Date 4 September We mentioned in our June news blog that a new module called \u2018Planner\u2019 will be implemented.
