We were awarded gold, the highest rating, in the government\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/news\/kentlife\/14115\/gold-award-for-kent-in-teaching-excellence-framework-tef\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">Teaching Excellence Framework<\/span><\/u><\/a> (TEF) and the most recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/research\/ref2014\/\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">Research Excellence Framewor<\/span><\/u><\/a>k (REF) ranked us 17th in the UK for research intensity with world-leading research in all our subjects.<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-container\">\n<div class=\"content-main\">\n<p>We are also proud to be truly international, with nearly 160 countries represented among a student population of 20,000.
