Ariane Mildenberg, who is currently writing a monograph entitled\u00a0<\/i>Modernism and Phenomenology: Epiphanic Moments in Philosophy, Literature and Art<\/i>\u00a0<\/i>(Palgrave Macmillan, 2014), will soon embark upon another phenomenological project as editor of a volume entitled\u00a0Understanding Merleau-Ponty, Understanding Modernism<\/i>\u00a0for the new Bloomsbury series\u00a0Understanding Philosophy, Understanding Modernism<\/i>. The volume will be divided into 3 sections: a section of new close-readings and critiques of Merleau-Ponty\u2019s pivotal texts;\u00a0a section of essays that reassess Merleau-Ponty\u2019s impact on Modernism while also tracing his continuing importance to literature, media, and philosophy throughout the twentieth and into the twenty-first century;\u00a0and a detailed glossary.
