Dr Jennie Batchelor has co-presented, with Dr Sophie Coulombeau (University of Cardiff) and Dr Liz Edwards (University of Wales), three podcasts (from a series of six) for the New Statesman entitled ‘The Great Forgetting: Women Writers Before Jane Austen’.
Jennie joins the series in episode three (which went live on 28th April) featuring ‘The Lady’s Magazine’ and is titled ‘Sociable Spaces’. In the fourth episode Jennie and her co-presenters will be talking about women writers of the 1790s and the following weeks’ podcast features a “fight club” in which Jennie and her co-presenters pitch for the best woman writer of the eighteenth century.
