{"id":1275,"date":"2017-05-04T14:40:52","date_gmt":"2017-05-04T13:40:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/english-news\/?p=1275"},"modified":"2017-05-04T16:35:15","modified_gmt":"2017-05-04T15:35:15","slug":"free-reading-with-michel-faber-for-dying-matters-awareness-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/english-news\/2017\/05\/04\/free-reading-with-michel-faber-for-dying-matters-awareness-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Free reading with Michel Faber for Dying Matters Awareness Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The acclaimed writer Michel Faber will read from his latest collection, <em>Undying; a love story<\/em>, at an event hosted by the School of English in conjunction with Pilgrims Hospices, at 6pm on Thursday 11 May, 2017.<\/p>\n<p><em>Undying<\/em>\u00a0honours the memory of Michel\u2019s wife, Eva, who died in 2014 after a long battle with cancer.
