It has three Best Student Paper Prizes in total, while two of these prizes were awarded to two PhD students at Kent. Mr Xuekang Liu and Mr Jianfeng Qian are PhD students at School of Engineering. They both are supervised by Dr. Benito Sanz, Dr. Chao Wang, Professor Steven Gao and their industria<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">l supervisors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">Prof. Gao, Head of Communications Research Group, said &#8220;The Communications Research Group at Kent are internationally leading in the fields of intelligent antennas, photonics, and wireless communication systems.
