Professor Thomas will tell Faraday\u2019s story. How did Michael Faraday, a deeply religious man who left school at 13 and never attended high school or university, become one of the greatest experimentalists of all time?  The lecture will take place in GLT1  (Grimond  Lecture Theatre 1 ) on Tuesday, 24th January 2012 at 7.30 pm.
