Congratulations to all our MSc and PhD students who graduated in Canterbury Cathedral on Friday 23rd November 2018. This was followed by a Reception and Prize Giving in the School of Engineering and Digital Arts where families, friends and staff celebrated their success. The Rohde & Schwarz Project Prize was awarded by John Batchelor,\u00a0Professor of Antenna Technology, to Mr Yuan You, for Best Project on a Wireless\/RF related topic.<\/p>\n
The Procon Engineering Project Prize was awarded by Dr Mark Hopkins, Managing Director of Procon Engineering, to Mr Muhammad Usman Khan, for the Best Project on the Advanced Electronic Systems Engineering programme.<\/p>\n
The BAE Systems Prize was awarded by Miss Rebecca Jaggon, Graduate Systems Engineer, BAE Systems Campus Manager, to Mr Muhammad Usman Khan, for Best Overall MSc Engineering project.<\/p>\n
The Wurth Electronics Prize was awarded by Professor John Batchelor to Mr Ge Rald Tey, for Best Performing Student\/and or Student Project on Advanced Communications Engineering (Wireless Systems and Networks).<\/p>\n
The Foundry Prize was awarded by Mr David Byers Brown, Senior Lecturer to Mr Christopher Joshua Gaikwad, for excellence in compositing on the MSc Computer Animation and MSc Digital Visual Effects programmes.<\/p>\n
The EDA Prize for Character Animation was awarded by Mr David Byers Brown, Senior Lecturer, to Mr Callum Stephen Andrew Williams, for Excellence in Character Animation on the MSc Computer Animation and MSc Digital Visual Effects programmes.<\/p>\n
The IEEE UKRI Communications Chapter Prize was awarded by Professor Farzin Deravi, Head of School, to Mr Qiushi Nian, for Best MSc student\/Project in the Telecommunications field.<\/p>\n
The DAQRI Master’s Prize was awarded by Professor Farzin Deravi to Mr Sherland Rodney Forde, for Excellence in Engineering\/Technology.<\/p>\n

The Rapid Electronics Prize \u2013 1st Year Robotics Competition was awarded by Mr Edward Keith, Education Business Development Manager, Rapid Electronics, to Connor Meringolo.<\/p>\n
The Rapid Electronics Undergraduate 2nd year Group Project Prize was awarded by Mr Edward Keith, Rapid Electronics, to 1st Prize (Group 15): Marie Joseph Jaques Samuel Leo,\u00a0Elijah Gould,\u00a0James Keith Collett and Joseph Agustus Jamin Noel. 2nd Prize (jointly awarded to Group 3 and Group 17):\u00a0Hannah Rehema Mwebeiha, Mr Niklas Glass,\u00a0Mr Edwin Sylvester Alexis Semakula,\u00a0Mr Arxhent Muja,\u00a0Ms Camilla Felici,\u00a0Ms Julija Makarovaite,\u00a0Mr Ahmad Saad Mohammed Aljundi, and Miss Vanessa Ifeanyi Okoh.<\/p>\n
The Rapid Electronics Cross Channel Robot Competition Prize for fastest robots in the France versus UK Competition was awarded by Mr Edward Keith, Rapid Electronics, to\u00a0 Mr Henry Matthew Jacob Webb.<\/p>\n
The IET on Campus First Year Robotics Prize was awarded by Mr Chris Read, IET Kent, to Mr Hasan Jamal, for Best Overall Design and Performance.<\/p>\n
