This was followed by a Reception and Prize Giving in the School where families, friends and staff celebrated their success.  Prizes were awarded as follows:-<br \/>\nThe Morpho UK Ltd Prize was awarded by Mr. Fred Preston, Senior Director, Identity and Security Solutions, to Shivanand Guness for Excellence in Biometrics on the Information, Security and Biometrics MSc.<br \/>\nThe Rohde &amp; Schwarz Project Prize was awarded by Mr. Phil McCluskey of Rohde &amp; Schwarz to Yasir Salih for the best project in the area of Wireless Communications on the Broadband and Mobile Communication Networks MSc.<br \/>\nThe IEEE UK&amp;RI Telecommunications Prize was awarded by Mr. Adam Jastrzebski, Senior Member of the IEEE and Chair of Membership Development in the UK &amp; RI Section of IEEE, to Yasir Salih for the highest overall mark and the best project on the Broadband and Mobile Communication Networks MSc.<br \/>\nThe Procon Engineering Project Prize was awarded by Mr. Mark Hopkins of Procon Engineering to Shaun Rodrigues for the best project on the Embedded Systems and Instrumentation MSc.<br \/>\nMany congratulations to all prize winners.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Canterbury Cathedral was the magnificent setting for our postgraduate students to receive their degrees on Friday, 19th November.
