The School of Engineering and Digital Arts’ forthcoming Research Seminar entitled ‘JST CREST CyborgCrowd Project: Towards Integration of Crowd and Machine Intelligence’ will take place on Thursday 29th March at 11 am to 12 noon in Marlowe Lecture Theatre 2 (MarLT2) and will be delivered by Professor Atsuyuki Morishima from the University of Tsukuba, Japan.
The Research Seminar will explain the JST CREST CyborgCrowd Project, which aims to establish principles and develop software tools to achieve flexible integration of crowdsourced processing, machine processing and any combination of them, taking the availability of people and algorithms into consideration. This talk explains the background, challenges, and the current status of the project.
All members of staff are welcome to the seminar. RAs, postgraduate and interested undergraduate students are particularly encouraged to attend the event. The event will be chaired by Dr Jim Ang and any enquiries concerning the event should be addressed to him at C.S.Ang@kent.ac.uk
