Professor Pichorim will present recent developments in the areas of Biomedical Instrumentation, Sensors and Biotelemetry and will also provide a short description about the project/staff exchange between UTFPR and the University of Kent that is currently being funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering as a Newton Collaborative Research Project.
Sergio Pichorim is a Professor at UTFPR (Federal Technological University of Parana) where he has supervised a number of doctoral and MSc research students. He specialises in electronics, bioengineering, biopotential, and operational amplifiers. He holds two patents. Curenntly, Professor Pichorim is a Visiting Professor at the University of Kent in an exchange funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, Newton Collaborative Research Project scheme.
