Congratulations to Sarah upon her election to the European Control Association

Given Kent’s institutional positioning as the UK’s European University, we are delighted to announce that Professor Sarah Spurgeon, Head of the School of Engineering and Digital Arts, has been elected to the European Control Assocation (EUCA), as the UK member of its General Assembly.

The European Control Association (EUCA) is a non-profit organization that promotes initiatives for scientific exchange, information dissemination, research networks and technology transfer in the field of Systems and Control within Europe.

EUCA members are recognized leaders in the field of systems control from across Europe. The General Assembly elects members on a simple majority of votes cast. Each country of Europe may be represented by one member of the General Assembly.

Congratulations to Sarah.
