Research Student wins best paper award at IEEE Conference

Miss Lijuan Wang, a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Yong Yan in the Instrumentation, Control and Embedded Systems Research Group, has been awarded the “Best Graduate Student Poster Award” at 2014 IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC) in Montevideo, Uruguay during 12-15 May 2014. I2MTC is the flagship conference of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measuement Society. The award winning paper is entitled “Performance Assessment of the Rotational Speed Measurement System Based on a Single Electrostatic Sensor”. Lijuan is also awarded “Student Travel Award” by the IEEE Instrumentation and Measuement Society to attend the I2MTC conference.
