Congratulations to Sally Lingjun Gao, PhD student from the Instrumentation, Control and Embedded Systems (ICES) Research Group in EDA, who won the Best Team Award with her fellow teammates for designing a Smarter Planet Project for the IBM’s Women in Technology Event on 19th June.IBM is the world’s largest IT and consulting services company, innovating in research and development to shape the future of society at large. IBM’s Women in Technology Event is a great opportunity to discover IBM and collaborate with other students and professionals on group projects aimed at future technology.Sally’s application to this event was supported by the IEEE Student Branch at the University of Kent.
