John Batchelor, Professor of Antenna Technology, delivered his lecture on ‘Electronic sensing with (almost) no batteries’ to members of the public, staff, students and members of the IET on the night of Wednesday 20 November as part of the annual Jennison Lecture series (kindly sponsored by the Institution of Engineering and Technology), in memory of Professor Roger Jennison, founder of the Electronics Laboratory, now the School of Engineering and Digital Arts.
John delivered an extremely interesting and informative talk about Radio Frequency Identification and sensing systems, attended by over 70 visitors.
