New PhD studentship position – Light Field for Virtual Reality

The School of Engineering and Digital Arts is delighted to offer a PhD opportunity as part of a European collaborative research project entitled ‘Light Field for Virtual Reality’, which is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Interreg VA FCE ADAPT project, and Interreg VA 2 Seas MOTION and H4DC projects.  The successful candidate will start in September 2020, working under the supervision of Dr Md Moinul Hossain and Dr Alexandra Covaci

Funding is available at the current home fee rate of £4,327.00 together with combined maintenance funding of £15,009.00. Overseas candidates with First Class Degree or Master’s with Distinction classification will be offered an additional honorarium of £5,000 per annum towards their fees.
