Head of School message to all 2020 Applicants

Dear Applicants

We are sorry to have to cancel our remaining Applicant Days due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and are disappointed that we won’t get a chance to meet you soon. We really look forward to welcoming you to the School of Engineering and Digital Arts (EDA) and want to give you an idea of what life could be like for you at Kent.

In replacement of you visiting us this Spring, we will do our very best to try to bring Kent to you. Please visit our dedicated 2020 Applicants page as well as our website where there is plenty more information about the School experience and community. We will be regularly updating this site with more information and videos, so please keep an eye on it.

Follow us on social media for up-to-date information – we’re on FacebookTwitter, Instagram and YouTube. Plus you can also take a look at the UniBuddy service on the Kent website, to ask our staff and students questions about life in EDA and have a ‘live’ chat.

We know that these are challenging times, especially with School and College closures. With summer A-levels being cancelled this year, our Admissions Officers will take a proactive and flexible approach towards your application – we want you to be assured that you will be able to start your journey with us at Kent in the autumn.

As always, you are welcome to email the EDA Admissions Team at eda-admissions@kent.ac.uk to ask any questions you may have regarding the programmes we offer.

We hope you and your family and friends are all keeping well and that we meet you at Kent soon.

Kind regards

Professor Farzin Deravi
