Kent alumnus offers insight into the global VFX industry and visual effects in modern film and television

On Monday 2nd March from 6 – 7 pm in the Sibson Lecture Theatre, talented University of Kent alumnus and Assistant Lecturer, Dominik Platen delivered a fascinating public engagement lecture entitled:  From ‘The Crown’ to ‘The Lion King’ – the importance of visual effects in modern film and television to an audience of over 50 members comprising students, staff, and members of the public.
Dominic shared the magic behind visual effects as well as amazing examples and incredible experiences from his visual effects career history plus an insight into the global VFX industry.  Dominik is currently 2D Supervisor at One of Us.
