Congratulations to Viktorija Makarovaite upon passing her PhD in Electronic Engineering.
Viktorija studies jointly with the School of Engineering and Digital Arts and the School of Biosciences as part of the EPSRC fellowship, Manufacturing the Future, supervised by Professor John Batchelor and Dr Campbell Gourlay respectively. The research focused on fungal infection and biofil sensing using RFID. The internal examiner was Dr Luca Marcelli.
