The School of Engineering and Digital Arts warmly invites you to an Engineering Taster Day taking place from 10.30 am to 4 pm on Saturday 18 January at the University of Kent, Canterbury.
During our Taster Day, you’ll meet our staff and current students, you will be able to explore our facilities and gain hands-on practical learning by building your very own walking robot.
The programme for the event is as follows:
10.30 – 11.00 am Arrival and refreshments
11:00 – 12:30 pm Interactive laboratory taster session
12:30 – 1:00 pm Lunch
1:00 – 2.00 pm Campus tour
2.00 – 3.00 pm Taster lecture/presentation
3.00 – 3:30 pm Life at Kent Talk
3.30 – 4.00 pm Refreshments and Close
This exciting day is designed for people with an interest in our Biomedical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Electronic and Communications Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering programmes.
