Congratulations to Lehu Wen, upon winning Best Student Paper Award at the International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation 2019

Congratulations to Mr Lehu Wen, Electronic Engineering PhD student in the School of Engineering and Digital Arts (EDA), whose paper entitled “A compact monopole antenna with filtering response for WLAN applications” has won the Best Student Paper Award at the International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (ISAP), 2019 in Xi’an, China.

The International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation was established in 1971 and is one of the third largest conferences (IEEE AP-S, EuCAP, and ISAP) in the areas of antennas, radio propagation, electromagnetic field theory and applications.

Professor Steven Gao said “EDA has an internationally leading research team in smart antennas for mobile communications and space applications. This award demonstrates that our researcher from the School achieved the highest quality of research in the field of antennas and propagation”.
