A team of academics and researchers from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts exhibited their Assistive Driving technology for powered wheelchair users at the REVA Disability Exposition in Ghent Belgium last month. The event was targetted towards the general public and was attended by Dr Michael Gillham from EDA, plus partners from EKHUFT (Dr Matthew Pepper and David Attwell), colleagues from Belgium KU Leuven and VOKA and from France ISEN.
The REVA Expo event showcases products like Habitation and Homecare, Daily Living Aids, Clothing, Personal Care and Personal Hygiene, Walking and Mobility Aids, Aids for Visually, Hearing and Speech Impaired, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, Orthopedic and Prosthetic Equipment, Automobile and Driving Aids, Workplace Design and Equipment, Recreation, Games and Sport, Medical and Out – patient Care Training Services etc. in the Medical & Pharmaceutical industry.
