The paper entitled “Highly Integrated Dual-Band Dual-Polarized Antenna Tile for SAR Applications“ has been shortlisted for the Best Paper Award in Antenna Design in the 2019 European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP).
Professor Steven Gao and Dr Chunxu Mao, both from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts are co-authors of this paper which reports an innovative antenna design for the future generation of high-performance space-borne synthetic aperture radars.
Professor Gao commented: “EuCAP is one of the most prestigious conferences in antenna technologies. This demonstrates the high quality of research work from the Antennas team in the School of Engineering and Digital Arts at the University of Kent where we are very proud of our antenna research work”.
