Researchers from EDA attend NAIDEX exhibition dedicated to the care, rehabilitation and lifestyle of people with a disability or impairment to showcase work on assistive devices and technologies

Reseachers from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts (EDA), as well as East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (EKHUFT – Medical Physics), Sussex Community Foundation Trust (Chailey Clinical Services), and ISEN (Lille) are attending NAIDEX from 26th to 27th March 2019 at Birmingham’s NEC to present the EDUCAT project.  Similary, a team from EDA are also attending NAIDEX to present the ‘Assistive Devices for empowering disAbled People through robotic Technologies’ (ADAPT) project.

Naidex is Europe’s largest disability event for trade, healthcare professionals and end-users. Taking place at Birmingham’s NEC on the 26th & 27th March, Naidex gathers innovation, information, cutting edge suppliers, and the most inspirational speakers from around the world to one venue, over two unforgettable days.  This year, the exhibition’s them is “Innovations for the Future of Independent Living”.
