The School of Engineering and Digital Arts is hosting a Research Seminar on Friday 14th December at 3 pm in JS1 entitled “HCI and Affective Health” which will be delivered by Professor Corina Sas from the School of Computing and Communications, Lancaster University.
The seminar will provide an overview of Professor Sas’s work on technologies for emotional wellbeing and mental health, with an emphasis on the value the human body experiencing the world. It outlines outcomes regarding digital disposal following life transitions marked by social loss, and design principles for affective health technologies. The talk concludes with an outline of the AffecTech: Personal technologies for affective health, an EC-funded Innovative Training Network and its interdisciplinary focus.
