A team from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts, including Dr Michael Gillham, Mr Paul Oprea, Mr Sotirios Chatzidimitriadis plus staff from the East Kent Hopspitals University NHS Foundation Trust including Dr Matthew Pepper, Mrs Fiona Minter and Miss Karen Saunders will be presenting their work both from the Empowerment of Disabled People Through the User Coproduction of Assistive Technology (EDUCAT) project and Assistive Devices for Empowering Disabled People Through Robotic Technologyies (ADAPT) project comprising their work on the smart powered wheelchair and the e-Platform for co-creation of assistive technology at NAIDEX on 25 and 26 April 2018. In addition, Dr Michael Gillham and Dr Konstantinos Sirlantzis will be presenting their research for the Multimodal Information Fusion for Safe Assisted Drone Navigation (MASAN) project on safe Drone flying in UK airspace at the Department for Transport (DfT) Innovation Day at their headquarters in Horseferry Road, London on 25 April.
