Congratulations to Catherine Butler, Communications and Engagement Manager and EDI Rep in the School of Engineering and Digital Arts who has been awarded £3750 from the Student Projects Grant Scheme Panel to run the project ‘Increasing Inclusivity in Tech through Inspiring Role Models’.
The project will seek to create a culture of inclusiveness by providing a series of lectures and activities involving role models from the engineering and technology sectors concentrating on topics such as unconscious bias, gender, race and culture, sexuality, disability, all set within the context of working in Tech.
