Vice Chancellor’s Research Scholarships 2018

The School of Engineering and Digital Arts is delighted to be able to offer The Vice Chancellor’s Research Scholarships for new PhD students starting in the academic year 2018/19.

The University of Kent provides a dynamic and challenging academic environment and has an excellent reputation for collaborative research with universities around the world. The scholarships are available for new research students who wish to undertake a PhD programme in one of our Research Groups in September 2018:

The scholarships, known as Vice Chancellor’s Research Scholarships will be awarded as Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTAs – see http://www.kent.ac.uk/scholarships/postgraduate/gta.html).

Successful candidates will demonstrate academic excellence and outstanding research potential.

As a postgraduate student you become part of a thriving research community and receive support through a wide-ranging programme of individual supervision, specialised seminars and colloquia, usually with external speakers. Kent’s Graduate School works to enhance the quality of the postgraduate student experience and ensures a supportive and vibrant postgraduate community across all our campuses.

Closing deadline for applicants wishing to be considered for the scholarships is 21 January 2018 and will be considered upon receipt of your PhD application using the online application system
