Research Seminar – ‘Antennas, FSS and Microwave Research at Harbin Institute of Technology’ – Friday 13 January at 11.30 am in JLT

The next Research Seminar in EDA is entitled ‘Antennas, FSS and Microwave Research at Harbin Institute of Technology’ and will be delivered by Professor Qun Wu from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China. It will take place from 11.30 – 12.30 pm on Friday 13 January in Jennison Lecture Theatre.

Professor Wu received his BSc in Radio Engineering, MEng. In Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Technology, and PhD in Communication and Information Systems, all at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Harbin, China.

He is currently a Professor and the Head of Department of Microwave Engineering at the School of Electronics and Information Engineering at HIT. He has published over 100 international and regional refereed journal papers and a Member of the Microwave Society of the Chinese Institute of Electronics and senior member of the IEEE. He is a technical reviewer for several international journals. His recent research interests are mainly in electromagnetic compatibility, metamaterals, RF microwave active and passive circuits, and millimeter wave MEMS devices.

All members of staff are welcome to attend. RA’s, postgraduate students and interested undergraduate students are particularly encouraged to attend the event. The event will be chaired by Professor Steven Gao.
