Professor Yong Yan wins best paper award at IEEE Conference

Professor Yong Yan, together with his partners from North China Electric Power University, have been awarded the ‘Best Paper Award” at the 2016 IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC) in Taipei, Taiwan during 23-26 May 2016. I2MTC is the annual flagship conference of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society. The award winning paper is entitled “Measurement of the mass flow distribution of pulverised coal in primary air pipes using electrostatic sensing techniques”. A total of 558 papers were submitted to the conference, but only 295 papers were accepted. All nine papers submitted from the Instrumentation team at Kent were accepted.
