Congratulations to NSS prize winners from EDA

The National Student Survey is a high profile census gathering opinions from students about their experience of their course, asking them to provide honest feedback.

Kent students who completed the NSS before 15th February were able to claim an Amazon gift voucher. Additionally, the School of Engineering and Digital Arts held a prize draw with a closing date of 29th February with the choice of an iPad or Samsung Tab. The two lucky School winners were Onyee Achara and Sara Cook.

Sara, a BSc Multimedia and Technology student, said “The NSS is a great opportunity for students to give important feedback to the university. It was easy to fill out and took no time at all and I was thrilled to get a prize for completing it! I would encourage all other students to make use of this opportunity”.

Onyee, who is studying BEng Electronic and Communications Engineering added “Taking part in the NSS survey was a great way for me to give feedback to the university and something I wanted to do. I also got to tell people about my wonderful learning experience as I have enjoyed my time here and would encourage other students to take part in the survey which is easy to complete. Also, winning the tablet was indeed a nice surprise!”

School Administration Manager, Giles Polglase, who presented the prizes, said: “Student feedback is vital in channelling new ideas into the experience we offer our students in EDA, both now and in the future.”

The NSS is open until 30 April 2016.
